Design Inspirations

Today was quite the day of bridal bliss. I had the opportunity to set up a table scape for Pi Beta Phi and Kappa's fundraiser. When I was trying to decide how to set up the table we thought that it would be great to have bride talk about our weddings and how brides experience the company I work for. So I went to a production company and asked them if I could use one of their dessert tables that rolls (normally it has a model standing in the table and serving dessert.) So I asked to hire one of their models and the company owner said, "why, you should sell it...you know it all..." so I did...

The table we set has a round hole and the plan was for me to stand in the middle of the table with a wedding gown on and the bottom of the gown would be the table linen. I started with the dresses from the production company, but I didn't really like how it looked on me. Being in this business allows for so many amazing contacts, so I went to Bliss Bridal Salon and asked the owner, Wendy if I could borrow a dress and tada...it is amazing!

Kelly Norvell, Bridal Blooms provided a beautiful bridal bouquet. The Lash Lounge did eyelash extension tabs and Face Logic did my make up application at no charge. The Production company (Eclipse Entertainment) supplied a blonde wig and a veil so that I wouldn't look like myself. I loved pretending that I was a happy bride that had a wonderful reception at my facility...and the guests at the party loved it. I can't wait to see the response tomorrow morning at the lunch. They are expecting almost 500 guests. Wish me luck!
